It’s been a few weeks since I shot my first wedding and I am still so happy with how some of the images came out.
As a photojournalism graduate, wedding photography wasn’t exactly on my radar at uni. I loved it as I love all things weddings... but never did I think that I would ever be asked to photograph one of the biggest days in some people’s lives. And get paid for it, too!
The wedding I shot was for my older cousin Katie and her husband-to-be James. It was at Burgh Hall, on Saturday 2nd of September and we were blessed with a beautiful hot, sunny day. I spent the morning capturing the bride, bridesmaids, flower girls & page boys getting ready, photographed right through the ceremony and captured the first dance.
I can’t wait to photograph more people in love, agreeing to spend the rest of their lives together ❤️❤️❤️
