First of all, I cannot believe 2017 is almost over! I didn't think this year would be much cop compared to last year (graduating, four holidays and getting engaged is preeeeeeetty hard to beat to be fair) but this year has been really bloody good.
I've been doing Coco's Camera for six months now and I can't believe how many lovely, wonderful, trusting people have asked me to photograph some of the most important days and milestones of their lives. In these last six months I've been lucky enough to shoot; 3 weddings and countless maternity, Halloween, Christmas, newborn, family and engagement shoots!
My downfall, though? I'm an instant gratification kind of gal. And there have definitely been times where I've been frustrated that a million people haven't asked me to photograph their prewedding/wedding/newborn/family shoots so I can do this full time. But then I remind myself how lucky I am to have a full time job I like & an income, which in turn allows me to build up my clientele at my own pace without the financial stress of wondering when my next job will be.
So what I'm really trying to say with all this waffling is; THANK YOU to every. single. person. who has liked my photography page, shared a post, gave feedback, had a shoot with me, referred me to a friend or has booked a shoot with me for 2018. Thanks to you supportive lot I've learnt SO MUCH - much more than I ever thought I would in six short months. Each shoot I can see the improvement in my shooting and editing techniques, and I can't wait to experiment even more in 2018!
